Capilano Senior Women’s Rugby

The Capilano Senior Women’s Rugby has two teams that compete in two divisions within the BC Rugby Union consisting of competitions throughout the Island, Lower Mainland and Interior.

Season: September, culminating in the Provincial Club Finals in May. Training Days:Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:00pm.

Premier Women

The Capilano Premier Women’s team competes in the BC Women’s Tier A Mainland League in the fall and the Premier League, in the spring. The Premier League is the highest level of club rugby competition in the province. The Capilano Women have won the provincial title three times since its inception in 1998 and was the first women’s team to win the national title in 2019. Players wanting to compete for the premier team are expected to have a high-level of commitment and dedication.

Game Days: Saturdays

2nd Division Women

The Capilano 2nd Division women compete in the BC Women’s Tier B Mainland League in the fall and the 2nd Division League in the spring. The Capilano 2nd Div has won the provincial title two times. The 2nd Division Women are often a mix of young or new talent, players looking to develop their skills and experienced veterans who previously competed for the club’s top sides. The 2nd Division is open to players of all skill levels and experience.
